This RDD provides the specification for implementing an MXF OP-1b file that encapsulates AVC Long GOP and AVC Intra VBR video essence, uncompressed PCM audio essence in chunk, and data essence originally carried in ancillary packets.

This document specifies the structure of the MXF OP-1b file, partitioning, Essence Containers, and the implementations of the Header Metadata and Index Table.
